Fishing is the main economic activity and if you want to savor fresh fish, Porto Garibaldi is the town of Comacchio where you can find it.
Even today the boats unload fresh fish directly at the port. You can then taste in the many restaurants or at home following the suggestions of those who have always lived with fish.

During the summer Porto Garibaldi is full of events and cultural and gastronomic events such as the Feast of the Madonna del Mare in June, with the traditional procession of decorated boats, and the great Feast of Hospitality, on August 14, with fish tasting and a fascinating fireworks display on the sea.

In addition, in the summer, motorboats leave from the small fishing port to visit the Po Delta and practice sport fishing for mackerel and tuna.
